For more than a decade, Nancy Egeberg Kukovich ’74 has been CEO of Adelphoi, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children who have been abused, neglected, or adjudicated delinquent. Prior to Adelphoi, she was President and CEO of United Way of Westmoreland County, serving a population base of about 500,000 people in southwest Pennsylvania.
She received a Distinguished Alumni Citation from Gustavus in 2025.
The Distinguished Alumni Citation from Gustavus Adolphus College recognizes outstanding and exceptional career achievement of graduates of the College and includes criteria such as the difficulty of accomplishment; quality, creativity, and distinctiveness of performance; humanitarian achievements; recognition by peers; and lasting contribution to the world of ideas and affairs.
